Fully automatic remote-controlled blackout blinds let you shut the sky out whenever you want true darkness and a proper night's sleep. The space is genuinely private, well insulated, and fully self-contained — a real getaway rather than a room in someone else's home. The combined bedroom and lounge features a super-king bed with a high-quality mattress, a large sofa, and a smart TV with all the major streaming services and 500Mb Broadband. The fully equipped kitchenette has an electric hob, eye-level microwave oven, under-counter fridge, dishwasher, and a characterful Belfast sink. The stylish bathroom includes a large rainfall shower, mirror light, and sink, with all towels and toiletries provided. Outside, the garden has a patio set for enjoying long summer evenings. Guests arrive to a welcome pack of wine and snacks, and a parking permit for our quiet tree-lined street, where there's always plenty of space.

A vibrant suburb of the city with high quality restaurants and arty retro shopping but the local neighbourhood is also a quiet oasis of cherry trees and big family houses which makes for a lovely balance of lifestyle.

Guest Access

Guests will have full access to the studio apartment, which will remain fully locked off from the main house the entirety of our stay. Guests also have access to the garden behind the driveway that has a patio set and outdoor seating to enjoy in the summer months.

Find us

It so easy to get around by public transport and by car. There are also lovely places to walk with nearby parks and the grounds of the university. We have a train station 9 mins walk away with trains to Harrogate and York and other historic cities as well as into the city centre; we have buses 2 mins walk to the top of our road to the shopping heart of the city and to the main station. Motorways and ring roads taking you by car in almost any direction are less than 5 mins away. We are 30mins from the Leeds Bradford Airport.
